People, please stop abusing the title Indie. The Killers are not indie! Deathcab for Cutie is not indie! Indie means INDEPENDENT. These bands all belong to major record labels. Get your shit straight! |

The Stars just pulled off the most amazing win ever. Ok, so LA scored two in the first minute and a half, and in the next period, it went on to be 4-0, with the Stars down. It was HORRIBLE. In the next two periods, the Stors score FIVE UNMATCHED GOALS, with the 5th in the last 10 minutes to win. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! But I do feel bad for Doug, because in our fantasy hockey league, he has Turco. But I feel even worse for whoever has Goran, because he gave up 5 GOALS. Ouch. Ouch. But I'm doing ok. Jarome Iginla scored a goal for me, but it's only the first day in the week, so there's a lot of play to see. GO STARS...GO TEXAS JEWBOYS! Wow. So unbelievably pissed off. If you go to camp, you know what I mean. If you don't, look at the bottom of the EHR website. Hint: There's a typo...the 2005 was intended to say 2006. Read the dates very carefully. |

Hey everyone. It's been a few days. Life is ok. It has its ups and downs. Something pretty bad happened, but I don't really feel like going into detail about it. But on a much happier note, The Black Panthers are in business! We had our first meeting on Wednesday, and we have another one Monday. So I triumph! And other stuff, but I also don't feel like going into detail about that. It's not bad, but I've explained it a bunch of times. So I guess life is pretty good. I am in no position to complain. I didn't update after ACL, but it was so much fun. So much stuff went on. Once again, I don't feel like going into details, but I had the greatest time. By the way, for anynoe interested, the Stella videos are back online! Collegehumor.com has them once again. So life is pretty good after all. Current Music: Mike Jones - Scandalous Hoes |

Greenhill is starting to make me slightly angry. When I had the idea for the Black Panthers club, I was totally serious. I stall am totally serious about it. All the teachers I approached to be sponsor thought it was a big joke because I'm white. So what if I'm white? I like to teach people about the Black Panthers. So I talked to Mr. Frerichs, who is an open-minded guy, and he agreed to sponsor it. Only problem is...he's busy out of his mind, which is udnerstandable. He teaches 9 or 10 classes a day. So I asked Dr. B, and she said she didn't want to sponsor any clubs. I asked Mr. Lowen, and he would do it, but he was too busy. Ms. Kim heard about the idea, and told me it was racist. Excuse me? Teaching people about Black history is racist? No, NOT teaching Black History is racist. I can't remember the last time we discussed a great invention by a black man or woman in school. Black history month means nothing. We just put up signs, and celebrate Jackie Robinson (not saying Jackie Robinson is bad, because he's great...just saying that there are other black heroes). And Ms. Kim tells me it would be controversial because it was a military group. For one, I am almost certain if I wanted to start, for example, a club on the US army, I could've had it passed a week ago. Who would want to seem un-patriotic enough to deny a kid the right to start a club on the US army? Secondly, the Black Panthers used violence as a last resort, and contrary to popular belief, were not anti-semitic, anti-white guerillas. Some people might've been anti-white, but the agenda of the Black panther Party was to promote acceptance of EVERYONE and to care for EACHOTHER. What's wrong with that? Teachers kept asknig me if I wanted to start the club because I thought it would be funny, or because it was "cool" to do it. Maybe I just want to teach other people about something I find really important. What's wrong with that? Mr. Hall said he would talk to Mrs. Sentilles to make sure it doesn't fall under the category of the Political Action Club, even though when you think about it, teaching people about the Black Panther Club and its history, leaders and morals is different that a club that talks about politics of today and raises funds for political campaigns, etc. He said as long as it doesn't, I can start the club. So why not? Don't ask me. Ask all the stupid fuckers that are trying to stop me from doing it. |

Tonight on the hurricane relief concert on tv, I heard Kanye West say something that went like this: "George Bush isn't doing anything in New Orleans. George Bush isn't doing anything for Black families. George Bush doesn't care about Black Families." And he's absolutely right. |
